happy 2010 everyone C: this blog has been quiet for a long time so i am here to activate it again, hahaha. Last year, we had quite a few of events together w the entire subzone, in zone level as well as as a church namely "school's out parties' in", camp believe, candlelight service, "the jing-guru town", xmas service and cg thanksgiving.

211209 we had our cg thanksgiving @ huiting’s house. This very day we gathered together to give thanks to God and also to our fellow members who are faithfully serving in W389. The award winners are: chester yan (best evangelist), ong jingwen (best dressed), benn chang (most transformed), aswin lau (excellence), desmond loke (newcomer), vivien loke (best servanthood) and last but not least amos ang (sunshine).

We celebrated Amos n yvonne Bdae before our CG starts haha

We had a great Cellgrp meeting ytd.New changes to our praise playing style.We had two guitars playing praise instead of the normal one.The sermon was great too abt GOD everlasting love.No matter hw bad we are,how sinful we are GOD stil loves us.Near the end of CG Tian yi show us a short video abt how much GOD loves us,the pain that he went thru and the suffering.

We need to recognise that we shuld nt be judgemental and not let pride come into our life

Equation of love

Our ablity to forgive is proportion to our ablity to love which is proportion to our magnitude of sins proportion to the forgiveness we receive

Therefore as we are able to forgive others we will be able to show them wif more love

Today service was truly inspiring left me into many thoughts.Pst Kong truly have brought us up to a higher level.
Today Service was titled as Are you a kisser or a cleaver
It talks abt Naomi,Ruth and Oprah.
In which each of the name haf a meaning behind it.
However was most inspiring n meaningful was when PST Kong said:All relationships have to go thru test.
Committment is convenantial loyalty relationship
More than often in this secular world we are put into many test such as economic test
In which relationships can be destroyed due to the finances.
However we could also be put to Emotion test,a crisis of FAITH test where we can either choose to believe GOD for miracle or to walk away from GOD.
Criticism test.
What carries the most damage in our relationship nowadays is when the spirit of disloyalty exist in our lives.
Love is based on convenantial relationship that never says goodbye
Our connection in church is like ligament of our body wif different ministries and congregation working together as one.
Faithfulness and loyalty is the cornerstone of character
Surprisingly the ending of each character is based by the way they relate to Naomi

YES, we are made in SINGAPORE! So, let's be proud of it!

9 August, a day that all Singaporean should come together to celebrate this very big day. As usual, we had our service at JW. Everyone in the service was very high, happy for Singapore. Pastor Kong, back in Singapore, shared the word of GOD w us that day and I am sure we were all inspired by his sharing. So, all w389ian let's give thanks, praise and worship GOD with all our might! :D

On sunday, we celebrated CHC's 20th anniversary! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHC! Service was awesome , the whole indoor stadium was filled w people. WOOO! Love the praise and worship, especially the second service :D

This year Festival Of Praise 2009 (31July-2Aug) was great, praise and worship led by Bob Fitts, True Worshippers band and speaker Rev Mark Conner. We were really inspired by his words. However, for those who had missed this year's FOP, be prepare for next year. It will definitely be even better. Festival of Praise 2010 (30July-1Aug), with planetshakers and Rev. Dr Che Ahn.

Wow todae Part one of sos is great especially the 2nd session.I could really feel the presence of God so strong.All of us especially me gt to have three things if u want the presence of God to be in our lives.The Meekness,the dedication n great humility in order for God to draw close to us.There will be time where decision have to make,are we willing to put JESUS CHRIST above the things n persons we love n have now.Is good to serve but nt allowing urself to be burn out.Serve wif a control.There were questions that were answered during these bible study like How Pst Kong manage to alwaes servin wifout burn out and his answer was he serve but nt 100% cos he kept some for emergency time.Many of us i guess even me myself sometime serve wif 100% til we totally burn out frm serving.We shuld alwaes look for God whenever we felt Tired as HE is our Refuge

Eve of Mother Day.We had a great time praising and worshipping GOD.A Short sermon was shared but it was great.After Cg we had a suprise for our bdae boi Kevin(ferris)guess what the cg bought him a basketball which he wanted.Haha his dream came true haha

After that we did a DIY Gift for our precious mother on the eve of mother day haha.It was fun fellowshipping while we do the gifts

W389 Last Cellgrp Meeting

Yesterday was the last official cellgroup meeting before multiplying out to a new cellgroup.
The game was fun,the praise and worship was great.Smile.
The testimonies that we gave was in all abundance and highest praise to GOD.
Joy had inspired us to move higher in cell group

The word was great too.When we got to know which cell group we are going.Some of us had mixed emotion as we kinda sad to leave them the time we spent together was great.The smile,the laughter and the lame jokes we always crack after cg n after svc.

Steamboat haha every one of us played a part eg getting the food ready,buying food and eating the food.
The food was great haha.

Than there was performances by Adam,Adam feat Darren ,Weiwen ,Samuel and me haha.
Everyone was enjoying this precious moment together that we have yesterday.

Hey W389 Stay Strong and though we may have multiplied but we are always one big family k and in the same zone.
Though the cellgroup may have multiplied but one thing for sure GOD is always here wherever we may go.

Its been such a long time since we updated.
We were at East Coast ParK during the MArch school holidays.
When we reach Eunos,was pouring heavily. all of us prayed for the rain to stop!! whoo-hoo! It stopped! STarted picnic-ing with abundant food!
Adam thought we be bbqing. he bought NON COOKED SAUsages! laugh till wanna roll on the floor!!!EXtremely funny!! can see from the packaging below:

dun ask what we are doing.. we are doing extreme sports! haha!

SUddenly, we felt like a bunch of monkeys..

conclusion: we enjoyed ourselves! AND W389 really love CHIPS!

on the second day.. i mean we were flat but feeling so awesome after having Prayer meet at 1am! thumbs up! We gotta see our CG grow into a whole new level Amen!
